Substantial 1,447-lot approved site hits the market in Fernvale

DEVELOPERS have an outstanding opportunity to capitalise on the barnstorming residential growth in South East Queensland as a substantial development site approved for 1,447 lots hits the market in the Western Corridor area of Fernvale.

The site offers a total land area of 153ha* across two landholdings and is being offered by an expressions of interest campaign that closes on Thursday 15 July 2021 at 4pm (AEST).

The property is being marketed and sold by Ray White Special Projects Qld Directors Tony Williams and Mark Creevey.

“Development sites with DA approval already in place are like gold dust at the moment as developers look to take advantage of the exponential migration to South East Queensland from interstate,” Mr Williams said.

“There’s no sign of the appeal of South East Queensland waning in the near future so now is the ideal time to get developments kick-started while demand for residential dwellings is red-hot.”

“The western corridor is key to the supply of affordable land for development in South East Queensland and with this site offering two separate approvals (116 large lots at an average of 1,525sq m* and 1,331 lots averaging 583sq m*), and the ability to potentially increase the development yield to upward of 2,000 lots, we anticipate strong interest,” Mr Creevey said.

“It’s positioned three minutes* from Fernvale town centre and benefits from easy connectivity to the Warrego Highway for access to employment generators Ipswich and Brisbane, as well as west to the Lockyer Valley and Toowoomba.”
