Receivers commence further release of Mission Beach property portfolio

Barry Kogan, Jonathon Henry, Anthony Connelly and Jamie Harris of McGrathNicol as Receivers and Managers of Mainland Property Group have released for sale a further tranche of properties from Mainland Property Group’s Mission Beach portfolio

The release includes five residential dwellings as well as nine residential allotments zoned for township, rural and rural residential uses.

Each property in the new release offers an opportunity to suit a broad range of potential purchasers looking to take advantage of Mission Beach’s tropical location.

The marketing agents Dick Williams of Ray White Mission Beach and Susie England of Tropical Property have successfully managed the previous three releases of properties for sale in late 2020 and 2021.

The latest offering provides an opportunity for buyers to acquire one or a multiple of the 14 properties up for grabs.

“The limited release of land and property for sale in Mission Beach presents an opportunity to become part of Tropical North Queensland’s tourism corridor community,” Mr Williams said.

“Properties in the region enjoy cool ocean breezes and are superbly positioned within walking distance of the golden beaches and stunning views of Dunk Island.

“Each of the five residential dwellings has direct beachfront access, ocean views, or is within close proximity to the beach.”

The fourth release of the properties is set to be met with high demand given the significant interest in the region throughout the pandemic, and the recent announcement of renewed interstate travel to Queensland.

“Demand for properties in our region is the highest we’ve seen in nearly 15 years and we expect that, as in the last successful tranche, interest from buyers will be high” Ms England.

Situated between Townsville and Cairns, Mission Beach is part of the Cassowary Coast region, made up of four villages linked by a 14km stretch of pristine beach.

The region benefits from a diverse economy centred around tourism, agriculture and local industry.

Mission Beach enjoys 297,000 domestic day visitors annually, adding approximately $31 million to the region’s economy.
