DA approved Everton Park townhouse site sells for $2.15M

A PRIVATE developer has snapped up a development site approved for 26 townhouses for $2,150,000 in the Brisbane suburb of Everton Park.

The asset comprised of a substantial 5,428sq m* development site and had approval for nine four-bedroom, fifteen three-bedroom, and two two-bedroom townhouses.

An amendment was also lodged with Council for 17 townhouses and three freehold allotments at the 14 Aldgate Street site.

The property was marketed and sold by Ray White Special Projects Qld Matthew Fritzsche and Andrew Burke.

“This asset was highly sought-after and follows a general strong demand trend for approved townhouse sites within the Brisbane LGA, following the Brisbane City Council’s recent announcement that townhouses are to be restricted under certain zonings,” Mr Fritzsche said.

“Approved townhouse sites like these are increasingly harder to find near the Brisbane CBD and this was reflected in the level of engagement from the market, with 63 enquiries recorded, and multiple  offers received at the campaign’s close.”

“Within 8km* of Brisbane CBD, Everton Park is a popular location in a leafy neighbourhood, that’s strong with the owner occupier, downsizer and first home buyer market,” Mr Burke said.

“It’s within walking distance to multiple schools, North West Private Hospital, and North West Plaza Shopping Centre.”
