463 Anzac Avenue, Rothwell QLD

A 6.85* Hectare Development Site situated 6 km* to Westfield North Lakes, 7km* to Scarborough Boat Harbour and in close proximity to future Rothwell and Kippa Ring Railway Stations (due for completion in 2016).

The cleared, level site is situated in a well-established area with a school and shopping  centre adjacent.

The site is zoned ‘Frame Business’ and designated ‘Specialised Centre Precinct’ under the Draft Moreton Bay Regional Council Planning Scheme.

A submission has been lodged with Council seeking to expand uses to include multiple residential dwellings, aged care accommodation or retirement village units. The majority of interest received throughout the campaign was from developers seeking varying types of residential end uses ie. retirement, relocatable home park, land subdivisions and townhouses. Several groups undertook pre-lodgement meetings with Moreton Bay Regional Council for a determination on likelyhood of achieving these uses and feedback was these uses would not be supported by Moreton Bay Regional Council. Moreton Bay Regional Council indicated they would only favour a use in line with Frame Business Designation.

Purchaser of the site was a religious organisation.
